The goal of the publication is to analyse of Poland and the Baltic countries passenger transport key indicators and problems with the main emphasis on Estonia. Here we will analyse at the background of the economy base indicators, including the European Union (EU) superpowers, of which directly depend on passengers transport volumes. We look at the background economy of these countries -gross domestic product (GDP), GDP per capita and foreign economy. We will analyse enterprises, production value, turnover, value added at factor cost of land transport, but also by sitze class. What is the optimal size of a transport company? Capital of Estonia, has five years of free public transport, it is now going all over Estonia. What are the problems with this? Can the national economy allow this?
