Organizational environment consist of a set of all elements that exist outside the boundaries of an organization and have the potential to affect all or part of the organization. This study determined the effect of organizational environment on procurement performance. Data were gathered from 70 departmental heads in the 10 sugar manufacturing firms in Kenya using self-administered questionnaires. Theoretical model and hypothesis of this study were tested using regression analysis. Results revealed that organizational environment have significant and positive effect on procurement performance (R2 = 0.646, p < 0.05). The study recommends that sugar firms should be keen to the changing business environments and put up measures that would help them in adapting to the environmental changes to improve on performance.
