Quantification of Anions and Cations in Restorative Biochemic Tissue Salts

Human body is a complex matrix comprising of various components in harmony with each other. The proper working of the body is based on the molecular balance of the ions occurring in the body. Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüssler combined the theory of biochemistry with the philosophy of homeopathy to develop a new branch of household therapy widely known as Tissue Salt remedies or Biochemic Remedies. 12 such tissue salts are available in 28 standard combinations. Because of their special method of preparation and elusive label claim the need for quantification of these formulations is crucial. The main aim of this study is to quantify 6 of such combinations as per ICH guidelines.
